Because Of A Marshmallow

Axel and I were sitting on a hill, watching the fireflies light up in the darkness. A fire was located nearby for warmth, although I swear, Axel's body heat was like an infernal pit of it's own.

Pulling a small bag of small marshmallows out of his pocket, Axel tore the bag open and speared a marshmallow on a stick. Axel held the marshmallow near the fire, and it slowly turned a light brown.

"Heads up!" Axel exclaimed, and I turned to see Axel tossing the small marshmallow my way. I held out my hand to catch the marshamallow, only to find that it was a little too warm for comfort.

My hands jumped, and the marshmallow sailed through the air. I stood up and dived to save the marshmallow, and it bounced out of my hand, behind me. I whirled around to catch it, only to find that Axel had it in his hands, his eyebrows raised in a silent question.

I giggled. "Oh, sorry," I said, holding my hand out for him to give the marshmallow back. Axel look at me, then looked at the marshmallow, then back at me. I knew what he was thinking, and automatically glared at him.

"Don't. You. Dare." I said, trying to make it sound like a threat. Axel smirked, then popped the tiny marshmallow into his mouth. I pouted, then sat down and crossed my arms.

"I hope you choke on it," I said. What I didn't notice was Axel sneaking up beside me. When I felt something tap me on my shoulder, I turned around to see Axel staring at me.

"Hoo heally hant hit?" translation: you really want it? I nodded, and Axel reached behind me and cupped my neck, pulling me closer.

My face warmed up.

Soon I found my lips and his connected. Axel grabbed my chin and pulled downward, opening my mouth. He pushed his tongue into my mouth, along with the marshmallow.

His lips left mine, and I found myself looking at a smirking Axel. I blushed harder, and chewed on the marshmallow.

"Mmmm..... It was worth it," I said.

And all because of a marshmallow.
